Claudio Morán y Los Universales

Claudio Morán es sin duda, una de las voces más conocidas del movimiento de Cumbia Peruana. Él empezó su carrera en los años 80s y desde ese momento se convirtió en el cantante tropical peruano más influyente. Al inicio de su trayectoria formó parte del famoso grupo "Cuarteto Continental de Alberto Maraví", grupo con el que alcanzó gran suceso, pero no fue hasta que se lanzó como solista con su proyecto "Claudio Morán y Los Universales" cuando se convirtió en una estrella internacional, no solo conocida en el Perú sino también en todo Latino América y México.

Claudio Morán is undoubtedly one of the most famous voices of the Peruvian Cumbia movement. He started his career in the 80´s and since then became the most influential tropical singers in Perú. He was first a member of the group "Cuarteto Continental de Alberto Maraví”, which achieved great success. But it was when he went solo with the project "Claudio Morán y Los Universales" that he became an international star. He is not only known in Perú but also all over Latin America and México.
